NITRO-CHEM and PROZAP have signed an agreement for the expansion of a high-energy materials production plant
On August 27, Zakłady Chemiczne “NITRO-CHEM” S.A. signed an agreement with PROZAP Sp. z o.o., part of the Grupa Azoty S.A. capital group, for the implementation of a project to expand the installation for the production of high-energy materials. The investment, financed from the company's own funds, will significantly increase production capacity in this strategic area of activity.
The expansion of the existing plant is a key step towards the further development of NITRO-CHEM S.A. The signed agreement will be the foundation for further investment projects that the company plans to implement in the near future.

"In line with recent declarations made in a letter of intent, we are expanding our existing strictly commercial relations with NITRO-CHEM to include technological and technical cooperation. Puławski PROZAP, part of the Grupa Azoty capital group, specializes in designing industrial installations for the chemical sector and has a professional team of engineers at its disposal, comments Dr. Paweł Bielski, Vice President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty, responsible for strategy, research, and investments.
The agreement concluded with PROZAP is proof that the letter of intent signed on August 13, 2025, between NITRO-CHEM S.A. and Grupa Azoty S.A. concerning cooperation in the production of explosives leads to real actions aimed at strengthening the company's production and innovation potential.
“Today's agreement confirms that our declarations are quickly leading to concrete actions. It is also proof of effective cooperation with Grupa Azoty, the effects of which will be significant not only for the development of the company, but also for the entire defense sector,” added Karol Przybyszewski, Member of the Management Board of NITRO-CHEM S.A.
The agreement was signed on behalf of NITRO CHEM S.A. by Arkadiusz Miszuk, President of the Management Board, and Karol Przybyszewski, Member of the Management Board, and on behalf of PROZAP by Dariusz Tadasiewicz, President of the Management Board, and Elżbieta Gęca, Member of the Management Board.
PROZAP Sp. z o.o. is a design office specializing in the design of new industrial installations and the modernization and expansion of existing ones.
