‘Nitro-Chem’ S.A., a leading European manufacturer of explosives, has signed another long-term contract with Paramount Enterprises International (PEI) for the supply of TNT in the years 2027-2029. TNT produced by the Bydgoszcz-based company will be used for US government weapons programmes, including the development of 155 mm caliber shells. This contract is further evidence of the company's strong position on the international market.

During the signing ceremony at the headquarters of Bydgoszcz-based Nitro-Chem, representatives of the Polish Armament Group were also present - which further emphasizes the importance of this cooperation for the Polish defense industry. There were also representatives of Pol-Mare, a company that has specialized in the transportation of marine military cargo for many years and coordinates the transportation of “Nitro-Chem” S.A. products to the United States.
“Subsequent orders carried out by Nitro-Chem for Paramount Enterprises International confirm the high quality of the manufactured explosives of the Bydgoszcz plant and its ability to meet the demanding standards of the defense industry. Consistent cooperation with global partners confirms the company's ability to fulfill the most demanding orders in the defense industry, without compromising domestic ammunition production realized within the PGZ ammunition domain, of which the Bydgoszcz-based Nitro-Chem is a pillar,” adds Piotr Zawieja, Member of the Management Board of the Polish Armament Group S.A.
- The Polish-American partnership is absolutely crucial for us. Today's meeting is special because we mutually share our competencies. We are the ones who sell our product to the American company Paramount Enterprises International and Poland is NATO's largest producer of TNT. Today we are talking about a contract that will be carried out between 2027 and 2029, with a value of PLN 1.2 billion. The delivery will include 18,000 tons of TNT. Poland, which is worth emphasizing, is the main supplier for the US army,” informed Secretary of State at the Ministry of Defense Cezary Tomczyk.
